Description
This portrait painting was created as one of a series of 6 I did in which I decided to use non-traditional paint colors for the skin and hair. I painted all 6 at once, allowing each one to tell me what it wanted me to do on the next one in the series. I really love the bright colors that resulted and it made for an interesting study of faces and the wonderful emotions they are capable of transmitting. Each one is unique and yet it is obvious they are part of a series.
