Artist's Description

This portrait painting was created as one of a series of 6 I did in which I decided to use non-traditional paint colors for the skin and hair. I painted all 6 at once, allowing each one to tell me what it wanted me to do on the next one in the series. Each one is unique and yet it is obvious they are part of a series.

Exploration and new ideas get my juices flowing and drive me creatively. My passion is to create visual works of art in my studio that come from the heart and from my connection to Spirit. It’s just who I am. When I look back in my life, I realize that I always have been an artist, though I have done other things...
